Detailed Itinerary of Annapurna Base Camp Trek – 7 Days

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara to Nayapul then Trek to Ghandruk

Maximum Elevation: 2,020 m, Ghandruk

Trek Hours: 1-2 hr

You will start your journey by taking a short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. In Pokhara, you will enjoy the beautiful view of mountains and lakes. It is one of the beautiful and clean city.

From Pokhara, you will drive to Nayapul. This is an enthralling drive of 1-1.5 hours.

From Nayapul, you will start your trek to the Ghandruk village. On this day, you will walk for an hour or two. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Fishtail, and many peaks.

After that, following the upward terrain, you will reach to the Chhomrong village. Chhomrong is a small village embraced by Annapurna Himalayas.

Day 3: Sinuwa to Deurali

Day 6: Bamboo to Jhinu Dhada Hot Spring

The trek continues to reach Chomrong through rhododendron and bamboo fields. From the Chomrong village, this trail will head towards Jhinu Hot Spring.

You will descend into mossy green forests and hills. The hillsides are largely filled with houses and fields. You can see down the valley all the way to Jhinu.

You can take bath and relax in the natural hot water in Jhinu Dhada. Jhinu is at 1,690 m elevation. It takes 5-6 hrs walk to reach Jhinu from Chomrong village.

Day 7: Jhinu to Kathmandu

Maximum Elevation: 1,400 m, Kathmandu

Trek Hours: 3-4 hrs

Today is the last day of your trek. From Jhinu you will trek to Birethanti. Birethanti is a small beautiful town surrounded by green woods and uphill.

The trek to Birethanti is one of the most relaxing walks of the entire journey.

From Birethanti you will head towards Nayapul. Then you will drive back to Pokhara and take a flight back to Kathmandu.
